My Only Love Song ***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!! My Only Love SongHistorical | Romance | Comedy | Drama
Finally, I completed a full Korean drama. Recently, there are so many dramas popping out, especially genres with 'historical' in it. There's so much that I am spoilt with choices, despite many ongoing series, I decided to give this little drama a go.
I was very, very surprised that this is a series from Netflix, did Korean drama and netflix has some sort of deal now? (Or am I just slow and not up-to-date..). Truth to be told, I did not have much expectations from it and seeing that it has all the genres I enjoyed, I clicked the first episode.
For me, in the list of korean actors and actresses, the ones acting in "My Only Love Song" did not exist in it. I had the doubts as it did not have any famous people in it. I only found out in episode three or four that the main hero is actually Jong Hyun from CNBlue. (I am very embarrassed about it.) The other actors/actresses are all new faces to me.
Throughout this drama, it is very light-hearted and comedic as the main characters slowly fell for one another. Their chemistry were very intense, especially in the kiss scenes they both shared. For a historical drama, there was not much power struggle between the good and the bad guy that I am so used to seeing in dramas with that 'historical' tag.
'My Only Love Song' brings about a fresh and cute take of time travel whereby the heroine didn't shy away from using her modern items (handphone, pop music, beer and games). Speaking of time travel, it is still pretty much a mystery to me to why the heroine was being taken to the past through this vehicle named Boong Boong. Is it because she was scared of dying (scraped) or in some ways wanted to teach the heroine a little lesson for she was being too obnoxious and arrogant when acting. Till now, I am still confused to that.
Other than that, the villain is also a very interesting character, with narcissism and yet at the same time, manly as he, too fell in love with the main heroine with pretty comic actions and results.
This entire drama is pretty well-paced, with times going either too fast or too slow. I find it funny and weird that whenever there is the king, there are always no subjects/officials except guards, it is like the king work alone (if you don't count the villain), to me, I felt a bit annoyed at that fact.
The plot of this story, I will say its not that original for I had seem glimpses of it in other dramas and that there are many areas where I can easily predict. Despite the flaws, I absolutely adore the chemistry between the main characters and the sparkling romance between the other cast. I love how they did not shy away from mixing modern with history and the ending was absolutely amazing.
I have, too heard that this sweet couple goes way back into 2015 where they both starred in a reality variety show- We Got Married (WGM) which I had heard before but did not bother watching until I met this couple and I actually went to hunt for their episodes.
After watching WGM and remembering this drama, they really did put some fan service into this drama, to tease and to just make the audience happy. I am very pleased that they matured and their friendship seemed to grow and blossomed from the day they first met till this very drama. Of course, I do not know their life but if there is any chance, I wish that they are actually together in real life.
I have also heard that Netflix is planning a second season to 'My Only Love Song' though it is still rumors with no confirmed news, I really hope they will make a second season so that we can now see our beloved main hero in the modern times and seeing his lover so popular in this strange new era.
This movie is surprisingly not popular in comparison with dramas such as Ruler:Master of the Mask and My Sassy Girl (2017), but that's all right. I personally really enjoyed this drama and I hope that you will too :D
Let me know your thoughts and opinions of this cute drama :3

13 Reasons Why
***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!!
13 REASONS WHYDrama | Mystery
This post will be a serious one that I will be doing a review on the series mentioned above.
13 Reasons Why deals with the issues the young adults face in their high school or even college. This drama is ugly as it tells the truth, the pain some young adults have. This drama is not sugar-coated in any way, it attacks the point directly without any sprinkles.
Bullying.
Rape.
Suicide.
Yes. These are the harsh and real topics that people generally avoid. Both are like thorns and needles if people can shy from them, they will. This drama makes me realize that something as small as making a list of who is hot and who is not can be so hurtful to the people involved.
This drama is so horrifyingly accurate that it gives me the chills as I watched it. The pain and loneliness Hannah felt, the 'righteousness' of the 13 people who caused either indirectly or directly her death, the guilt some felt, the frustration and pain of Hannah's parents were so carefully planned, spaced and executed.
I could feel Hannah drowning in her own depression as she shrunk into nothingness and felt that being alive was just a burden to people around her.
I have felt so many emotions while watching all the episodes from anger towards the bullies, sadness towards Hannah, heartwarming whenever Hannah calls Clay 'Helmet', disgust and shock towards Bryce and what he done, not one but to two beautiful ladies.
Before I read this drama, I had a couple of friends recommending me this drama. I saw the trailer and I knew the main lead/girl died. I was frightened about this entire concept, the story seemed so brutal and not covering the harsh reality of bullying, rape and suicide and what they can do to people and those around the victim(s).
I procrastinated until I caved in and watched it. All the emotions began to stir the moment I realized it all started because of how her friends betrayed and left her, how she was being bullied, slut-shamed and ultimately raped.
Bullying, has always been a touchy subject to me as I was bullied once. I have read comments about how coward Hannah was and how stupid/arrogant she was to push the people who care about her away.
Speaking from personal experience, once you are bullied, it is as if you are being pulled by a string down into this black pit, and that string can only be seen by you, you want to break free, you want to tell yourself that everything will be okay, everything will eventually go away especially when you're done with school and move on to a new one. Everywhere you go, you are alone; the bullies will make sure that you will not feel welcome into the class/school, they will make sure to make your day a living hell. You just feel so utterly alone and that nobody will care to understand you.
To outsiders, talking that kind of experience to someone is as easy as ABC but let me assure you, it is something no one likes to talk about. It is like you're sinking and nobody gives a damn if you are able to swim or not. So when people start to think that Hannah is being a weak girl for not standing up against the bullies or when she witness the scene of Jessica and Bryce, it is easier said than done.
People often associates people who gets bullied are someone that needs to reflect on themselves as if it was the victim's fault of catching the bullies' eye and had a big neon sign 'Come Bully Me'.
People often associates people who suicides as weakness, as a cowardly act to run away from responsibility.
People often associates people who got raped that they deserved it for they wore such revealing clothes and/or that they went out so late at night.
These are the norms society do, they victim blame. To those who watched the special episode, they talked about victim blaming and I do agree that usually victim blaming are way more traumatizing than the actual assault/bullying.
That string that holds down on them will suddenly becomes an iron rod and they will sink even deeper thinking that no one will ever understand them.
I always have this mindset if your family, friends and your future son or daughter was bullied, raped or even attempted suicide, would you still blame them for being a coward or that they deserved it. Would you feel good when other people starts to murmur that your daughter or son deserved to be raped, oh why? Because she was wearing such a short skirt and going out so late in the night. Now how would you feel as a mother or father then?
These topics always create so much storm, so much debates and arguments that stand on either side. It had so much grey area to it and people wished they were not involved.
I am so happy and grateful that there is such a drama that talks about what young adults could/might/had face in their lives with no happily ever after, and only with the harsh truth.
I am glad that I have watched this movie as it gives me the courage to help other people and that I had survived those dark days.
When the drama decided to show the process of Hannah committing suicide, some people complained for being too graphic or that they questioned the crew for showing such gruesomeness, but isn't this drama dealing with such gruesome topics? Why should they cover the fact that the process is indeed ugly and so terrifying alone? That was the scene when I cried the most and when the mother walked in on her daughter lying alone bathed in her own blood in the bathtub , I felt my heart died a little.
If you have not watched this series, please, I urge you to give this drama a chance. It will be a roller coaster ride and it will not be pretty.
If you have watched this series, I'm sure you will understand what I'm typing about right now.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed this series and I can't honestly wait for the second season as I'm sure there will be a storm coming, especially with the scene of a certain photographer hiding a machine gun (I think it is a machine gun) and his hit-list, I assumed.
To those who condoned the act of bullying, rape and suicide and blame the victim, I hoped this series make you realize that it is not as easy as you think to get help, when all they have known is that the people around them were being unkind or assaulted them.
To all the survivors of bullying, rape and suicide, you all have encountered and endured it all. All of you are beautiful and I'm glad you are still alive to see that in this seemingly ugly world we live in, there are people who are genuinely beautiful and care about you. I hope you are happy and well.
To those who don't give a damn, I hope you do after you watch this series.
With this, I will once again disappear. Till next time my lovely readers.

JJ

Stranger Things ***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!! Stranger ThingsThriller | Horror | Sci-fi | Drama
This particular review is something I have not done before in this blog yet. I'm sure some of you guys have heard about this particular TV series while some of you might not.
Stranger Things, is my very first English series that I actually completed and adores it. Sure, I did watch other series. Gossip Girl- I didn't continue as I was spoiled about the ending through a twitter post (yes, stupid me). Game of Thrones- I tried, but just couldn't get past the first episode. Reign- watched a couple of episodes and got pretty bored of it. Westworld- A genuinely interesting plot but the use of robots and alternate reality pretty much kills my interest for the time being.
I have heard about Stranger Things a while now, but the genre of horror didn't appeal to me much and Korean dramas were more of a priority in my to-watch list. However, for this week, I was strangely annoyed by the Korean and Taiwan dramas and I decided to give this series a go.
I did not regret.
The suspense and the jump scares were very obvious but the tension they built up was really good, you knew the monster would pop up, I knew it but every single time, they made me jump a little and I would just be smiling at myself.
The plot was amazing though there were parts and moments that I knew what was about to happen. They made the monster appearing scarcely as they focused on the characters and their various developments. I appreciated that as too much of the monster's scene would ruin the intensity of its 'thriller' genre. They did a fine job of making me feel suspended, wondering what was next, who would die, who could die.
The first episode to me, in that first few minutes of the show was really cliche. Flickering lights and its sounds? Darkened hallway? Guy running from something and pressing the elevator? Him to breathe heavily as he stared out of the lift and the lift door just wouldn't close for some strange reasons? Yes, it was intense but at the same time, I knew that thing was coming and it did, of course.
Yet, from some strange reasons, it compelled me to continue, to understand what was going on, what was this conspiracy about. Answers were not really given even till the end of the last episode of Season One, but why would it be answered if there would be an upcoming season two next year?
The characters were all really great, each of them had their own interesting/mundane past and how their lives intertwined because of the girl who has psychic powers (El/Eleven). I love the three kids who could use their limited knowledge of science and fictional stories to help save their friend, Will from this alternate dimension.
I love the connection between El and the monster and there was so many things left unexplained.
I love the flashbacks that are triggered by items that are so vital to the series.
I love how through this series it portray the power of a parent's love, the fierce loyalty between a group of friends, a budding friendship between three seemingly impossible teenagers, the trust and promise between them and lastly, the return of Will to the real reality/dimension and the darkness he carries in his body.
Stranger Things is a show that I would definitely remember and recommend to anyone who is interested in thriller/sci-fi genre, horror, it wasn't as bad as I thought, gore yes definitely. The past eight episodes were all so delicately planned and evenly spaced out so that the viewers would not get bored of it.
Season 2 would be a more intense season for I think that El would return with the little hint of the Chief Police leaving some food in a box. Will, our possible antagonist and how he will cope with the demon inside of him, quite literally in fact, and how the town would be thrown into chaos, again.
However, there were moments where I found the characters annoying, for example when Steve crashed the little hunting party and started screaming like a damn girl, I wanted to throttle him. The three kids' bullies were mildly.....crazy. Could fifteen/sixteen year old boys be that crazy to actually use a penknife and hold someone as hostage while demanding another to jump off a cliff to save that friend? I know it is for the drama's sake but this little act made me feel that it could be exaggerating. I was fine with them making fun of the three kids and calling them losers, making them fall but to reach that point? I am not too happy about it. Hey, it is my view, though I love how El save her lover from the cliff<3 hehe.
Regardless, this is seriously an amazing story and I will be waiting for summer 2017 for it to release the second season. In the mean time, let me just recollect myself and start wondering what will happen in the second season :3

Love in the Moonlight
***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!!
Love in the MoonlightHistorical | Romance | Melodrama
Well well well, -inserts derp face-
It has been months since I watched a complete Korean drama and this gorgeous drama is the first after so long, that I have completed (binge-watched). I did watch other dramas during the period I was on hiatus, due to school, however, I just could not finish those.
Love in the Moonlight to some of the people, even to myself, has a rather cliche story plot. I am a fan of historical Korean dramas and I had watched plots that are similar to this drama I am doing a little review on.
A girl who pretended to be a guy because she has no choice.
A girl whose background is complicated due to her being a rebel's daughter.
A crown prince who fell in love with that said girl.
A government that is corrupted and greedy for more power.
Sounds pretty familiar huh xD
However, I am not dissing on this drama for I absolutely adore it. The meet-up they have, quirky and funny to the break up they are forced to have, heartbreaking and sad, live up to its genre of melodramatic.
The young love they share is simply pure as they found courage in doing what they are supposed to do. Each character are introduced flawlessly and tied all the loose ends together. Sure, at the later parts of the drama, it seems a tad bit rushed with all the catching the bad guys and solving the mystery of the late queen's death.
The portrayal of brotherhood, friendship, loyalty and love are really admirable as each actors and actresses could convey their feelings through unsaid words. Sometimes, this kind of acting cuts the heart real deep. No words, just speaking through their eyes as they gazed upon one another. No words, just smiling with their eyes. The two main characters done it, and done it so beautifully.
I had to admit that in the later parts of the drama, around episode 14-16, it was getting rather boring and draggy and in order for me to not give this drama up entirely, I began to scan/skim through parts and it was at episode 16, the pace started to pick up and thank goodness, it did xD
Despite the cliche story plot, the script was well scripted and the actors and actresses brought a freshness to this pretty overly used plot. The bad guys, of course, were punished and I would say it has been a while that one of the bad guys committed suicide and this drama used it.
However, I feel that the bad guy (Prime Minister Kim) did not commit suicide because of his own pride, but perhaps he felt sorrow (probably for the first time) that his grandson died and that all along, the fortune teller was speaking about his grandson's early departure from life and not the crown prince. Maybe that revelation took him over the edge that he caused his grandson's death and seeing that gun, it was a way to say sorry to his grandson.
Ultimately, it was a happy ending though I was a bit disappointed that Ra On did not became queen as I was secretly hoping that she would be one and bridged the gap between the royals and the civilians, but nope :( Regardless of my little disappointment, kudos to the amazing actors and actresses and definitely, the back stage crew.
Great job Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, Jung Jin Young, Kwak Dong Yeon, Chae Soo Bin and Chun Ho Jin for their superb acting skills.
Amazing job by Bo Gum and Yoo Jung for not letting their age difference of six years hinder the beautiful chemistry both of them shared in the movie <3
Till next time my lovely readers!

Cheese in the Trap
***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!!
Cheese in the TrapRomance | Manga | Life | Drama
Wah.
This Korean drama seriously blows my mind off. Based on a manga, this Korean drama oozes with realism, as it tells us that nobody is perfect and everyone has their own problems haunting them.
Cheese in the Trap has a rather fresh story plot I've seen so far in the list of Korean dramas I had watched the past few years. Every character has their own distinct uniqueness. Starting from Hong Seol, our main heroine in this drama who is consistently being 'used', having family problems. Throughout the entire journey of this drama, I could see Seol starting to grow a backbone of her own, as she began standing up for herself instead of being a mere pushover. Despite of her simple looks and dressing style, she stood out in the crowd in her own unique ways.
Moving on the main hero- Yoo Jung, who is of course, the heir of a major cum famous corporation. He had a dark side which nobody knows about except for a handful. Later on, in the drama, it further develops that Yoo Jung was not someone to be messed with, hiding behind his cool and friendly exterior, is a guy who will trample on someone's feelings which never fail to make me wince and send a chill down my spine. I had to admit sometimes I do whistle at those actions Yoo Jung gave to those people and found them to be really...ingenious. (I'm sane right? LOL)
Baek Sibilings, the two characters with so much backstory, and yet somehow oozing with originality. The older sister- Baek In Ha, who suffered megalomania and some personality disorder was always in her little perfect world that she was sheltered and rich, but for it to be completely destroyed in the later episodes. Sometimes, I would snicker as she deserved those treatments since she was a spoilt brat even when she was a little girl, but yet, living in an environment with an abusive aunt, giving up her dreams on being a painter (I'm just assuming), having her own brother throwing her away into a lonely environment, perhaps destroyed her?
The younger brother- Baek In Ho, due to a fighting incident, broke his left hand which forced him to went into a five year hiatus away from his passion- piano. He, too, had an interesting character as he slowly developed feelings for Seol. I would say that this is the first drama that I experienced 'Second-lead syndrome'. There are times when the drama had the direction detoured to be shipping In Ho and Seol together, In Ho was definitely sweet, but then again, aren't the second lead usually sweet for the male and the female a bitch? As the drama unfolds itself, explaining the reasons behind everyone's actions just make me cringe. It displayed the type of people we would encounter in our lifetime- freeloader, flirt (borderline stalker), a person who idolize someone else, people who love to gossip. All those types are perfectly shown as various characters in the college life of Seol's, and did an amazing job at that. I had seen that there were unhappiness regarding how the drama ended, that it was too unsatisfactory for the viewers. Honestly in my opinion, as this drama is adapted from the manga which was not completed, the screen writers could not possibly make up their own ending right? What if the author did not have that ending scene in mind? Wouldn't it be unfair to the manga? To me, this drama ended the best as a cliffhanger, it was meant to let us ponder, and wonder if they would get back together, and what was the best way to do that? Yeap, read that manga! At least, the screen writers did not disappoint us by dropping us a little tease of the unread mail from Jung switched to read. Let our imagination run from there! Since the middle of the drama, I had guessed that there would probably be not a happy ending where Seol would accept Yoo Jung and his borderline sociopath tendencies. Both of them needed time to rearrange their thoughts, rethink their life before they could accept, which I find it perfectly okay. If the drama ended with Seol and Yoo Jung being all happy and lovey-dovey, I do not know if I would be as happy as I am with the current ending. (Unless, of course, the manga ended with that, but it didn't.) Throughout this drama, I could not help but admire the actress playing as Baek In Ha, to be always 'wild', 'spoilt', 'delusional', and 'violent' seems to be really tiring. Flipping tables, creating commotion wherever she goes, she had acted her role really well (how good, I had no idea as I did not read that manga). I was really proud that I found this drama fairly early seeing it that it aired in the first two months of this year, Phew, I'm not that outdated huh xD All in all, I'm really happy that I found this wonderful drama, I loved the twist and turns of this interesting fresh plot and I enjoyed how dark it sometimes could get :3 Amazing work by the actors, actresses, screenwriters, director and everyone involved behind the scenes. Perhaps, I would even read the manga for this :D xoxo, JJ Sunday, June 5, 2016
Me before You ***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!! Me before YouRomance | Life | Drama
An amazing and touching love story. This movie was adapted into a movie from the book 'Me before You' by JoJo Moyez. Truth to be told, I did not know that this book existed, it was until the trailer came out and I fell in love with the story and the cast (Emilia Clark and Sam Claflin).
As the lazy me, I could not be bothered about getting this particular book, despite having urges to just go to the nearest bookstore and get one. Nevertheless, I didn't and waited for this movie to come out in the theaters.
Just like what the title said, 'Me before You', in my opinion, I feel that in this bittersweet love story between Louisa and Will, both of them think for themselves more than for the other partner. For Louisa, she wanted Will to change his mind of ending his life, to let him enjoy life through her. She hoped and wished that Will would change his viewpoint of life ultimately for her sake.
Whereas for Will, he could not handle the harsh reality of him being paralyzed neck down. Having a life filled with adventures and fun, and that one accident had so violently ripped his freedom from him. That very notion destroyed Will. It was mentioned that Will would wake up screaming due to the reality he had to faced every single morning for the past two years after the accident and the pain he had to endured during treatments which did not seem to be getting any better (due to the injury of the spinal cord). To Will, living has no meaning anymore, it was just a never ending nightmare.
Despite the appearance of Louisa and her bubbly chatty self, it could not reverse Will's mindset of ending his life. He wanted to be selfish, he could not live with his broken self. He could not and would not be able to survive just for Louisa's sake.
Perhaps, if Louisa had entered Will's life earlier, instead of the six months Will gave himself to live, maybe Will might had chosen to endure and survive. But then again, fate works in strange way and because of each other, they had experienced a brief but amazing time together. Will had found the courage to smile, maybe even when he passed away while Louisa had gained her freedom to leave that little town of hers to explore the big world.
I cried in the theaters, the anguish Louisa felt when Will was adamant in ending his life, even after so many trips; the pain Will had to suffer and cover just so Louisa would not worry. All their little actions were always gravitating towards one another. Their little quirky jokes always put a smile on my face, with tears in my eyes.
I loved how Emilia Clark and Sam Claflin portrayed their characters, I of course could not judge their performance as I did not read the book but from my knowledge via this movie, they did a wonderful job.
This movie was not a fairy tale. Will could not get any better from his condition, Louisa was stuck in her little town due to monetary problems. Even after Will's death and reading his letter weeks later, Louisa chose to smile and embarked on a journey outside of her safe town, fulfilling her dreams and Will's.
Superb acting and great story plot :) Enjoyed this movie a lot :D (I might even get the second book haha)
Have an awesome week my readers!

The Moon That Embraces The Sun ***Spoilers below. Read at your own discretion!!! The Moon that Embraces the SunFantasy | Romance | Historical | Politics
The Korean drama that I have chosen to watch after my final exams. This movie is breathtaking and really heartwarming.
Truthfully, when I chanced upon this drama, my first thought was that the main heroine came from a poor family or from a wronged family who was murdered, leaving only her and when she grown up, went into the palace where she met her love- the king. I was in for a huge surprise, it was nothing like that. The main heroine, aka Heo Yeon Woo, came from a respectable family whose father and brother were both scholars. She herself, was pretty, kind and a very intelligent girl. It was when she was young (13 years old) when she met her first love, who was the crown prince (15 years old).
The little first love that both of them shared was really cute as it slowly blossomed and when Heo Yeon Woo was chosen to be the crown princess (future queen), I was incredibly overjoyed but of course, in dramas, happiness is never meant to last (at least not until it is the end of the drama), she had a death sentence.
This particular drama revolves around sorcery and those people who wills the 'divine powers' were known as shamans. It was an interesting concept as I had always thought that sorcery was a taboo and those who practice them were to be burned on stakes, I guess that was in the western history and perhaps not in the Joseon Dynasty (yes, they mentioned that all events are purely fictional).
Throughout the drama, I kept wondering what was the point of showing us the death of a prince and soon enough I realized, there would be 2 suns- Lee Hwon and Yang Myung, one of them was to die; in the treacherous pits of the palace, there was no place for two princes.
I really love how even till up to Yeon Woo's death, both Lee Hwon and her did not utter the phrase 'I love you". You may call me old fashioned, but for both of them, who are barely 16, how would they know the meaning of 'love'? I honestly doubt that and I was grateful they did not put that word into the script, not now of course.
The first six episodes were about how Yeon Woo and Lee Hwon and their backstory. There were moments where I wished the plot could hurry along so I could see them both grown up. Yet, those six seemingly agonizing episodes, held a strong foundation for this drama. I got to see the strong brotherhood and friendship between the childhood friends, the quirky relations Lee Hwon and his chief attendant have.
There was so much heartwarming moments, I adored the loyalty Seol had for her mistress- Yeon Woo. I loved how no matter what happened, the friendship never breaks, the bond between the two brothers were never meant to be severed by others. I admired how in this drama, it showed us that fate/destiny always wins, no matter how hard it is to be blocked.
I felt sorry for princess Min Hwa, even though her actions for keeping quiet about the truth of Yeon Woo's death were pretty much annoying, still she carried that very burden in her heart. For Bo Kyung, she was the second moon, however she was never meant to have Lee Hwon's heart. Seeing her getting so hopeful only to be crushed were sad, her heart was always destroyed because that spot she oh so desperately clings on isn't rightfully hers, right from the very beginning. There is one scene where Lee Hwon and Yeon Woo went to the market place and watched a puppet show about how a king fell in love with a servant. I was laughing so much, as Lee Hwon were appalled that a king would actually fall for a mere servant, it was so brutally honest as I had seen so quite a bit of historical romance drama to be based on that. However, I had a burning question. Why did the family never ever visited Yeon Woo's grave? Of course, she was not in there, but why did her family never went to her grave? Why only did the housekeeper knew that her grave was dug out and not her very own parents? Do they not visit their beloved sister and daughter? It was truly baffling and that very question was never answered. It was a pretty flawed aspect in that drama which I was very annoyed about. There is also that one scene of the zoom out of palace. If you notice, it is always the same picture, with maybe either more or less people walking on the palace grounds, it gets frustrating after a while, nevertheless still amusing. All those innocent deaths were depressing but I knew that, what's a political drama without deaths? The politics were not too deep or uncomprehending, it was dead on simple- people being power hungry, greedy and would stop at nothing to keep their precious position in the palace. I had predicted a certain scene at the later episodes (episode 19/20), which I was not surprised but could not help to feel a tad disappointed about how it turned out. Overall, it was an excellent drama with the perfect blend of romance and politics. The child actors in this drama are so brilliant, their emotions so raw that never failed to bring tears to my eyes, the undying love for one another in the grown actors (Kim So Hyun and Han Ga In) were so gorgeously portrayed. Everyone suits and acted their role beautifully. The soundtrack of this drama are simple, yet filled with emotions, powers and portrayed the elegance, anguish, anxiety, and longing of the characters which further boost the atmosphere of this drama. Amazing piece of work, I am really glad to have watch this fine drama after my exams. Daebak! xoxo, JJ |
